In the summer when I first made this suggestive setting for the iron we were eating a lot of
watermelon from our great local farmer's market. On the way back to the compost pile with the rinds I
would ocassionally slip one in under the iron and find the ants running up and down the pyramidal base
a short while later, then steadily on into the next day until they had devastated the food.
