Three independently wind-driven elements
When kinetic sculpture is designed to be motivated by the passing air, it’s like giving a visual form to the most elusive of physical substances. We know the movement of air can carry the power of shock and awe in its extreme displays, we can appreciate the cooling effect of a summer breeze, and curse those same breezes on cold days when the icy fingers probe at every weakness in our winter shielding. Most times it is the given of our world and a medium for light best appreciated when it is least noticed. A sculpture like this is a moment of conscious thought for this fundamental medium of life.
